Today's daily diet: Why you ask and never receive.

        One of the major problems we believers face today is the continuous prayer over things or issues

and never get results. Most times we get frustrated, thinking God doesn’t hear our cries and prayers

anymore.

    James 4:3 made me to understand that “We ask and do not receive, because we ask wrongly, to

spend it on your passions.  The King James Version says:  you ask and receive not, because you ask

amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts.

        You have remained poor simply because your motives and intentions towards getting rich are bad.

We never intend to help the less privileges, never intend to support God’s work

and ministries, never intend to make people around us happy. But all we intend to do when we become

rich or wealthy is to oppress the poor and our neighbors , to live in luxuries, wasting money on things

that can’t be taken with us to the grave(vanity upon vanity).

     Whatever you ask and hope for in prayers , be it wealth or any other thing in this life, please as from

today make sure you  have good intentions to help the needy by clothing the naked , housing the

homeless , feeding the hungry and by supporting the church, the motherless, the ministers   

of God , caring for the sick and so on.  Matthew 25:40 made me to understand that inasmuch as you

perform this things , you did it all for Jesus Christ, and you would be surely blessed and inherit the

kingdom of God. Likewise Matthew 25:41 – 46  also made me to understand that inasmuch as you did

not do this things mentioned, you did it not to Jesus Christ and have denied him help when he

needed you most, and would therefore be cursed and end up in eternal fire prepaid by the devil. I pray

in Jesus name that non of us would end up in the everlasting lake of fire, so therefore let us show love

by practicing this things, remember that love covereth all sins(proverb 10:12).
